Built with 41 stands of Pure Bare Copper yielding a 20 AWG conductor, insulated with Low Density Polyethylene and then encased by a semi-conductive PVC insulator. A PBC maximum coverage braided shield protects the wire from spurious magnetic fields and is encased in an extremely durable, yet flexible jacket.

The G&H Direct Integration Plugs are an innovative approach to the age old ¼” plug design. In traditional plugs, several subcomponents are joined together through press fitting, riveting, or soldering. Because passive instruments like guitars are already very high-impedance, each small junction point within a plug can create additional impedance and alter the quality of audio signals. G&H Direct Integration plugs address this problem by eliminating unnecessary connection points using ClearConnect construction, in which direct to plug contacts are radially compressed to metallurgically bond with the cable strands. This MIL-spec construction technique is engineered to deliver a fast and accurate transmission of instrument signals.
